Pointer’s farm soon after they purchased the land in 1913. The horse on the left is on the farm track, that was the forerunner to modern day Dillon Rd.

    View of the Pointer Farm, circa 1920. The main crop was pineapples, fruit trees were also grown and eggs were sold in later years. Dillon Road ( in 2016) branches off Payne Road on the left side of the house shown in this photograph. In the 1920s Dillion Road, it was a track on the Pointer farm, used to access the property.
