Jack, Vera and Maria
From the end of World War II in 1945, many displaced persons (declared stateless) spent long periods in Camps. On the 5th August 1948, men departed from Hanover to board ship at Vollen Bosfal, leaving wives and children to follow. At that time Australia was not accepting families with more than one child.
